Influenced orders

Validity

The validity defines which trades can be influenced by the Meta Extender. Let's look at the following illustration, where four charts are shown.

Influenced orders.png
  • Chart A:** **Executes and Meta Extender in EURUSD M15
  • Chart B:** **Executes and Meta Extender in USDJPY M15
  • Chart C:** **Is used to open trades in EURUSD M15 but without Meta Extender
  • Chart D: Is used to open trades in EURUSD M15 but without Meta Extender

In general terms, the Meta Extender operates in a wholly encapsulated manner. It can only manage, observe, and modify trades opened using its user interface. Consequently, any actions taken in Chart B, Chart C, or Chart D will not affect Chart A, and vice versa.

Even a trade opened using the standard MetaTrader order interface within Chart A is not managed by the Meta Extender's tools, such as the trading journal. The Meta Extender assigns a unique Magic number to maintain this clear separation to each instance. A magic number for each Meta Extender session is managed automatically, eliminating the need for explicit configuration and avoiding confusion.
