Deleting of Tick Data

If you wish to delete tick data for any reason, you can use the built-in symbol management window in MetaTrader 5. The tick data doesn't require any special modifications to your MetaTrader, so that deletion can be performed easily.

Open symbol management​

Please open the symbols management window by navigating View - Symbols to do this.

Search for symbol and delete​

Next, please search for the name of the custom symbol you want to delete and remove it using the right-click context menu.

This action will eliminate the tick data and the custom symbol from your MetaTrader instance.
