UI-based configuration tool

The configuration of the Expert Advisor Builder within the MetaTrader strategy tester has some limitations, such as a restricted number of input parameters and suboptimal usability. To address these issues, the next version of the Expert Advisor Builder will feature a React-based user interface that can manage MetaTrader instances for specific testing scenarios. This project, currently codenamed Test Suit, is in the planning phase, but its release date still needs to be defined.

Feedback loop with AI

The Expert Advisor Builder and Custom Expert Advisor are designed for full automation. The primary focus of their development is integration with other algorithms. For instance, a Python script) could automatically interpret output data and then design and plan further tests and entire trading systems based on that data. This concept is known as a feedback loop.

In today's fast-paced trading environment, market conditions can change so quickly that manual adaptation is nearly impossible. This is particularly true for scalping and day trading, where a strategy might only be effective for a few days or weeks. Consequently, a strategy test should not take more than a month to identify the next profitable short-term trading module. This necessitates automating the entire process, a strategy already employed by large banks and investment funds.

With up-to-date artificial intelligence (AI) integration, the Expert Advisor Builder can interact directly with an active Custom Expert Advisor to modify a live trading strategy as needed. Given artificial intelligence's inherent learning and adaptive capabilities, this approach can provide long-term profit stability and reduce the effort required to adjust trading strategies compared to standard optimization algorithms.
